Order of Hellscream started with a group of people who wanted a refreshing experience.

Why Order of Hellscream?

Although not known as much as Thrall, Hellscream is an important character of the Horde history. He saved the Horde, and deserves our deepest respect. In his memory, we carry his name through the lands to help us become stronger, and lead the Horde toward new victories.

What is Order of Hellscream then?

  1. An english speaking guild so your english must be at a reasonable standard.
  2. A light raiding guild. Even if we will try everything which we can reach, we won't push too hard to reach higher targets as we want to keep our spirit at all costs. Which means, we will never turn into a heavy raiding guild, even though we're confident that with time, our raiding activities should extend to a good level. We raid 3 days a week at most, and not everybody can get a raid spot. (Recently edited)
  3. A democratic guild. What exactly does it mean? We've got a process when it comes to guild management. Guild matters are brought to the attention of the guild, and is discussed among all of the members. After a while, the leaders propose few solutions based on the previous discussions. Then the guild members vote which solution fits them best. The matters are discussed again every 3 months, to be sure the current way the guild works is up to date with its members.
  4. A guild attached to freedom. We're offering our members many activities. Even if we encourage them to participate to them, nothing is mandatory. You don't have to attend raiding, guild events, meetings etc. to be a fully qualified member.
  5. A communicative guild. We've got many tools to allow our members to communicate among each other, and it's really important. Be it about guild management, personal issues, being helpful, sharing knowledge etc. we expect our members to use them a lot.
  6. A soft roleplaying guild. Roleplaying is encouraged, although no action will be taken if members are not roleplaying. It's always nice to have members write full sentences ("I am out of mana" instead of "oom"). But since even roleplayers don't always feel like roleplaying (tired, bad mood or whatever ...), it's the member's choice to roleplay or not. Since we're on a RP server, it's obvious all members should respect other members' roleplaying, and the server rules when it comes to /say or /yell.
  7. A helpful guild. Whether it comes to quests, raid access etc. we're willing to invite members to help others. This is what makes a guild attractive and fun to be part of.
  8. A high level guild. Although lower level players will be accepted in the guild up to a certain extent, the guild's actions will focus on getting its members to raid, which starts when you are high level. However, as the number of high level members increases, chances are that lower levels will find help more easily.
  9. A mature guild. We do not intend to look after you, as we believe you will sort out all the incidents you may encounter. Officers are not meant to solve every single quarrel, even if it involves another guild member. As harsh as it may sound, we know we can't always get along with everybody, and we believe you will find enough friendly members to play with, and still fully enjoy the guild and the game.
  10. A PvE guild. Of course members may enjoy the PvP contents, but the guild's objectives will leave this aspect as a personal investment.

What is not Order of Hellscream?

  1. A hardcore raiding guild. Be prepared for an itemization more focused around the guild's needs rather than your own character optimization. The loot system will be more oriented towards simplicity than a complex system like a complex DKP which would reward in a better way your own needs.
  2. A free ticket to instances / raids. You'll have to work your way there like everybody else, and prove your value to the other members. (Recently added)
  3. An anti Pickup Group tool. Don't expect everything from the guild. (Recently added)
  4. A deep roleplaying guild. Roleplaying is nice, but will not be forced upon our members. However, members are invited to do some efforts in their spelling. Use as often as possible full sentences rather than abreviations like "oom", "brb", "afk". No action will be engaged if a member doesn't respect that. We also believe that a good roleplaying person will succeed in having many members follow it. Quality will come with freedom.
  5. A PvP guild. Members are free to organize PvP events, groups and raids, although it will not be part of the guild's scheduled events.

To sum it up, a new member when joining Order of Hellscream is encouraged to help other members, be cheerful, avoid drama as much as possible, communicate with other members in a mature way when something seems wrong, or could be improved, and be patient for everything which is related to raiding.
